Later, after completing law school, he reentered military service as a trial counsel with the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General Corps after negotiating a deal with the Pentagon to return to active duty in Hawaii. While with the 25th Infantry Division, he tried hundreds of cases. After leaving the Army, Mr. Fedor practiced extensively in securities and investment matters in San Francisco and in California's "Silicon Valley." He has been involved in venture capital deals, private and public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, drafting of disclosure documents, securities class actions, securities arbitrations, regulatory reporting and related state and SEC filings.
Mr. Fedor was the general counsel for a publicly traded computer company. He was involved in the drafting of merger and acquisition prospectuses, annual reports and SEC filings. He is the author of the California Business Incorporation legal system software and a contributing author to Drafting Agreements For the Sale of Businesses published by the California Continuing Education of the Bar. Mr. Fedor has been called as an expert witness on securities fraud and financial issues in arbitrations and in civil and criminal court.
Mr. Fedor manned a suicide crisis hotline and was a Big Brother. He has been an active volunteer with both the VA Hospice and the Suncoast Hospice. As a veteran he served on the local Fisher House Foundation and has also worked with veterans in the community and those being treated by the Veterans Administration. He has been an Honor Guard Captain and Chaplain and has conducted numerous funeral services for veterans, some of them homeless and without any family or friends to attend their burials. He was a "Call-a-Ride" volunteer where he drove disabled veterans and others to doctor's appointments. Mr. Fedor has been a veteran mentor with the Veteran's Treatment Court and volunteers with the MANNA Food Bank.
His hobbies include downhill skiing, hiking, fishing, traveling, Zumba and Hip Hop dancing and home beer brewing.
